The Name on the Door

For fifty years there has been a Kohnke practicing law in Louisiana. Richard V. Kohnke, Sr. opened his own practice in the 1990s and built it one client at a time.

His son grew up around it. He played two sports in college, graduated from Loyola University College of Law, and spent years at one of the biggest injury firms in the state before coming home to take over the family practice.

Today Richard V. Kohnke, Jr. runs Kohnke Law from Magazine Street.

The man who founded the practice is still down the hall.
